A Blakbone Halloween (starting early . . .) by G.J. Sieck
10 SepWe’re starting Halloween a little early this year at 1134 Comix. This 10 page Halloween Special will update from now until October 31st. The schedule will be pretty loose, and sometimes more than one page will be posted per week. Actually, this story was started last Halloween, but an MFA thesis kind of got in the way of finishing it anywhere near Halloween. So, I put it on the shelf and decided to put it up for Halloween 2017. So here’s the first page. The next one will be up real soon!

This was originally printed as a very small run of mini-comics. Who knows, maybe you’ll get your hands on one of the print versions one day . . .

So, Blakbone defeated Bel-Samu and is on his way to other adventures in Outer Space. This story arc is just about over …
When Blakbone returns, he will be getting into some early Halloween shenanigans – it will be Halloween from August until October 31st in the next leg of Blakbone’s continuing journey.
Once that story wraps up, look out for the entire Blakbone web-comic in print at 1134press.com. The book will include the earliest part of Blakbone’s story that only appeared in a very short print run. Get the book this Fall to see how it all began.
Starting in November (all going to plan …) Blakbone will find himself as the key player in an epic battle for the galaxy. Follow along at 1134 Comix!

Happy 4th of July
4 JulHappy 4th of July from 1134!
Back in 1776 the American colonies officially separated from British rule – good job!! Today, we celebrate this monumental event by stuffing our faces with wieners and maybe blowing a few digits off (hey, we’re born with ten so we have a few to spare! Just watch the thumbs, they’re the most important). So, let’s all put on our powdered wigs and American flag bathing suits and celebrate our independence from the crown! Drink a Budweiser – it’s the most American beer. Rock, Flag, and Eagle!
Keep an eye out for burning embers falling from the sky and be careful out in these drunk-driver filled streets. Basically, have a fun and safe Independence Day everybody! We need you all to survive so you can come back here and read more Blakbone . . . most importantly, to buy more books! LOL
But seriously – buy more books.
