1134 Comix News – What’s Coming Up Next

Hello comic fans! First, I want to thank everyone who has been reading Horde of the Unvanquished / Blakbone. It’s been fun doing the comic and the feedback from Horde has been great.

This Sunday we will be going back and touching base with Blakbone. It’s been a while since he’s made an appearance and it’s time we wrapped up his current adventure. After that we will be getting back to some more Horde of the Unvanquished. So never fear, your favorite army of demon warriors will be back in approximately three weeks.

Thanks again everybody for following along, and I’ll see you in the funny pages!

1134 Comix – in sequence

Good morning everybody! Since its been taking me longer to post new pages to Blakbone you can always go and read all of 1134 web comics in sequence at Web Comics Nation. Read Blakbone, A Day in the Life of Larry and Outer Space Adventure at this link.
I’m trying to move away from posting B&W pencil pages to full color pages. It takes quite a bit longer to go through the inking / coloring process than it does to post penciled pages but, I think the colored pages are a better product and worth the extra time. I’m sure I will still be putting up simple pages in the future though.

Starting off the New Year with a New Look

Gave the site a bit of a make over for 2014! I think it looks cooler than the old comic page background. Who knows, maybe It’ll go back to a more comic page based theme again in the future…

I’ll be back soon with another update to Blakbone also. He’s getting into all kinds of trouble this time!

In The Meantime

I’ve been putting work in on the next installment of Blakbone whenever I get the chance. With the semester coming to an end and final projects coming due, I find my time to be less and less. Fortunately, my time to work on creating comics and updating this blog is about to open up wide.

I have about ten pages of Blakbone goodness on the way. The first couple have been setting ready to be lettered for days now, maybe longer, but hey, things that aren’t for a grade or a dollar tend to fall to the bottom of the to do list.

I can’t wait to get the next part of the story up online. It’s no Shakespeare, but it’s good for a chuckle I think. So, in the meantime…

Update

It was quite a gap between the other night’s post and the one before that. I’m going to try not to let that happen again. I have a continuation to the comic below on my drawing desk now that I plan to begin posting online soon. I will be putting those up on my Web Comics Nation page, but, will link to it here. That’s all for now, I’ll be back soon with a new comic.
